We had an amazing week-long stay at A L'Ombre D'Azay. The owners, Isabela and Jerome, provided impeccable service and created a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were beautifully designed with high-quality furniture and ample natural light. The historical architecture, including the caves, added to the unique experience. The large garden with wooden chairs and tables was perfect for relaxation. The daily breakfast showcased delicious regional pastries, jams, and cheese. Isabela and Jerome's passion for hospitality was evident in every aspect of our stay.
Would recommend this hotel.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel at home right away. The studio accommodation was impressively spacious and well-equipped. It was a shame we only had an overnight stay as we couldn't fully utilize it. The direct access to the garden and private sitting area was a delightful bonus. The town itself was charming, although we didn't have enough time to fully explore. Special mention to the delicious breakfast with locally sourced products. The location was perfect, in a beautiful village with a famous castle. The whole place had a unique charm with its historic dug-out cellars. If I ever pass by the area again, I would definitely choose to stay here.

The hotel's location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the village and visit the nearby chateau. The staff were hospitable and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience. The morning meal could have offered a bit more variety. While the breakfast featured local produce, it would have been nice to have a wider selection of yogurt flavors and maybe some eggs.
